Designed to form the exterior seal in perimeter joints between wall openings and window frames, door frames, entrance assemblies and glazed structures in heated buildings, with permissible joint movement of no more than 15%.
For the exterior seal of joints around window, balcony and glazed assemblies, and for sealing gaps between walls, ceilings, skirting boards, window sills, wooden and metal window frames, concrete and brickwork. KUDO® SMK 351 is suitable for filling and concealing joints, cracks, gaps and cavities in wooden, brick and concrete walls. Not suitable for permanently submerged joints. For exterior use.

| Storage | Store in tightly closed original packaging at temperatures from +5°C to +25°C in a dry place. Up to 7 freezing cycles (each cycle not more than 1 day) down to -20°C are allowed, or a single freezing down to -20°C for not more than 7 days. Thaw without additional heating at +20 to +25°C. |

Application
- Remove dirt, dust, cement, old sealant and other residues from the surfaces. PU foam and concrete panel surfaces must be free of cracks, cavities and chips; repair defects larger than 6 mm. In winter, remove ice and frost. The sealant can be applied to dry or damp surfaces, but water droplets must not be present. Apply no earlier than 24 hours after applying the PU foam. Degrease surfaces adjacent to the foam; KUDO® Universal Degreaser is recommended. Caution: do not apply during rain or snow or at high humidity (>70%).
- Recommended ambient application temperature: +5°C to +35°C; application from -20°C to +35°C is permitted. The sealant temperature should be +20°C to +25°C.
- Ready to use. Do not dilute with water, as this may cause sagging, loss of adhesion and cracking.
- Protect adjacent surfaces with masking tape for a neat finish.
- Apply a sealant layer 4.5 to 5 mm thick, with at least 3 mm of contact on both the opening and frame surfaces.
- Level the sealant with a putty knife or a brush before the surface film has formed.
- Remove the masking tape immediately after smoothing.
- After application, prevent the sealant from being in contact with water for at least 6 hours.
- Tools and surfaces should be washed with water immediately after use, cured sealant should be removed using mechanical methods.
*When using solvent-based paints, run a test.
