One-component polyurethane spray foam for seamless local insulation of building structures and services. Suitable for complex shapes and hard-to-reach areas. Excellent adhesion to most building materials, including concrete, brick, plaster, wood and plastics, except polyethylene, polypropylene and fluoropolymers. Forms a uniform, seamless insulating layer with a fine-cell structure, high thermal and acoustic insulation performance, low moisture absorption and low vapor permeability.

Easy and efficient to apply without special equipment, tools or additional consumables. Unlike mineral wool or polystyrene boards, it requires no framing or additional fasteners. Once fully cured, the surface can be painted or plastered. Classified as a self-extinguishing polymer.

PUR‑O‑THERM R25+ KUPHTER10R25 application areas

  • Higher density of the cured polyurethane foam, close to that of professional two-component (2K) machine-applied spray foam.
  • High thermal insulation performance with low vapor permeability and water absorption. An effective alternative to mineral wool, polystyrene foam, insulation felt and other board insulation.
  • Economical and effective: one can is enough to form a 4-5 cm thick insulation layer over an area of 1.5-2 m²*. The aerosol can makes it easy to calculate the exact amount of insulation required.
  • Fast and easy to apply: it takes less than 2 minutes to spray 1 m² of insulation.
  • A 1 cm layer of PUR-O-THERM provides the same thermal insulation as 5 cm of mineral wool, 30 cm of sand-lime brick or 60 cm of concrete.
  • When walls are insulated, the small thickness of the insulation layer reduces the volume of the room only slightly.
  • Does not contain harmful solvents and fillers. Environmentally friendly when cured.
