Silicone Sealant for Aquariums and Display Windows
KST-20X
KUDO® high-quality acetoxy-cure silicone sealant for bonding glass in aquariums and terrariums and for sealing glass, ceramic, stainless steel, anodized aluminum, enameled surfaces, wood, PVC and other materials.
Intended for interior and exterior use, can be used in rooms with high humidity to seal joints around shower enclosures, bathtubs, sinks, swimming pools; for sealing joints when installing sanitary equipment, waterproofing surfaces, sealing joints between tiles.
Forms a durable, watertight joint that resists discoloration and dust accumulation. Resistant to most detergents and cleaning agents, UV radiation, weathering, temperature changes and almost all aggressive conditions. Thixotropic: does not run or sag in the joint. Remains flexible and accommodates movement of up to 20% in service. Aquariums with a capacity of up to 150 liters require no additional structural reinforcement.

Application
- It is recommended to apply the product at an ambient temperature from +5°C to +40°C; the sealant temperature should be +20°C…+25°C.
- Apply to clean, dry, degreased surfaces. Protect adjacent surfaces with masking tape for a neat finish.
- Tool the sealant with a damp spatula. Remove the masking tape immediately after smoothing.
- Remove excess applied sealant with a solvent or mechanically.
Note! The sealant may be tinted over time if blue chemicals are added to the aquarium! It is not recommended to use the sealant when dealing with natural stone (marble or granite), metal surfaces prone to corrosion (lead, copper, zinc, or brass), or concrete, cement, plastered surfaces, as well as when working with mirrors. Do not paint over!
