Silicone Sealant for Bathroom and Kitchen
KSK-18X
Contains special antimicrobial additives to prevent mold and mildew growth. Ideal for rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms, showers, kitchens, etc. It is used for sealing joints and connections when installing sanitary equipment, waterproofing surfaces, sealing joints between tiles.
KUDO® Silicone Sealant for Bathrooms and Kitchens forms a strong, durable joint with movement capability of up to ±25% after curing. Resists dust accumulation, most detergents and cleaning agents, UV radiation, weathering, temperature changes and almost all aggressive substances. Forms a skin quickly. Thixotropic: does not run or sag in the joint.

- Resistant to UV radiation, cleaning agents and detergents.
- Excellent adhesion to enameled surfaces, glass, stainless steel, anodized aluminum, wood, PVC, porcelain, and other building materials.
- Service temperature range: –40°C to +180°C.
- Tack-free time is 15-25 minutes, sealant curing rate is 3 mm per day (at +23°C and 50% relative humidity).
- A cartridge covers 20-22 linear meters at a bead diameter of 4 mm.

Application
- Apply at temperatures from +5°C to +40°C. The sealant temperature must be +20°C to +25°C.
- Apply the sealant to clean, dry and degreased surfaces.
- Tool the sealant in the joint with a spatula dampened with soapy water.
- Remove sealant from tools and soiled surfaces with a solvent (acetone, white spirit) before the sealant has cured.
- Remove cured sealant mechanically.
Note! It is not recommended to use the sealant when dealing with natural stone (marble or granite), metal surfaces prone to corrosion (lead, copper, zinc, or brass), or concrete, cement, plastered surfaces, as well as when working with mirrors. Do not use for sealing aquariums and underwater joints. Do not paint over!
