Acrylic Sealant for Wood and Parquet
KST-31X
High-quality, one-component, plasto-elastic acrylic sealant for sealing joints in parquet, laminate and cork flooring; filling gaps around skirting boards, trim, wooden window frames and window sills; and sealing joints in paneling and partition walls.
Suitable for repairing and concealing defects on wood surfaces where joint movement is less than 15%. For interior use.
Excellent adhesion to wood, cork, concrete, brick, stone and plasterboard. Vapor-permeable and resistant to mold and fungi. Resists discoloration, cracking and crumbling, making it suitable for joints subject to movement. Chemically neutral, solvent-free and odorless; cures by water evaporation. Easy to apply and clean without staining wood or laminate edges. Once cured, it can be sanded and coated with water-based or oil-based paints.

| Storage | Store in tightly closed original packaging at temperatures from +5°C to +25°C in a dry place. Up to 7 freeze-thaw cycles (each cycle not more than 1 day) down to -20°C are allowed, or a single freezing down to -20°C for not more than 7 days. Thaw without additional heating at +20 to +25°C. |

Application
- It is recommended to apply the product at an ambient temperature from +5°C to +35°C, including the substrate temperature. The sealant temperature should be +20°C…+25°C.
- Apply the sealant to clean, dry, degreased surfaces.
- Smooth it down in the joint with a spatula dampened with soapy water.
- Clean tools with water, adding a cleaning agent if necessary. Remove excess uncured sealant with a damp cloth or mechanically.
- Ready to handle for a 2 mm thick layer – 48 hours (at 23 °C and 50 % humidity).
- Use paints and varnishes with film elasticity comparable to that of the sealant. Varnishing colored sealants changes and intensifies their color.
Do not use for joints that are permanently under water. Do not apply at ambient temperatures below +5°C or in high humidity (>70%).
