Acrylic Sealant for Wood and Parquet
KSK-31x
High-quality, one-component, plasto-elastic acrylic sealant for sealing joints in parquet, laminate and cork flooring; filling gaps around skirting boards, trim, wooden window frames and window sills; and sealing joints in paneling and partition walls.
Suitable for repairing and concealing defects on wood surfaces where joint movement is less than 15%. For interior use.
Excellent adhesion to wood, cork, concrete, brick, stone and plasterboard. Vapor-permeable and resistant to mold and fungi. Resists discoloration, cracking and crumbling, making it suitable for joints subject to movement. Chemically neutral, solvent-free and odorless; cures by water evaporation. Easy to apply and clean without staining wood or laminate edges. Once cured, it can be sanded and coated with water-based or synthetic paints.

| Storage | Store in hermetically sealed original packaging at temperatures from +5°C to +35°C in a dry place. During transportation, up to 7 freezing cycles (each cycle not more than 1 day) down to -18°C are allowed, or a single freezing down to -18°C for not more than 7 days. Thaw without additional heating at +20±5°C. |

Application
- It’s recommended to apply the product at an ambient temperature from +5°C to +35°C. The temperature of the sealant should be +20°C… +25°C.
- Apply the sealant to clean, dry, degreased surfaces.
- Protect adjacent surfaces with masking tape for a neat finish.
- Cut off the cartridge tip above the thread and screw on the nozzle. Remove the nozzle cap and cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to match the joint width.
- Apply with a cartridge caulking gun.
- Tool the sealant in the joint with a damp spatula. Remove the masking tape immediately after smoothing.
- Clean tools with water, adding a cleaning agent if necessary.
- Remove cured sealant mechanically.
- Ready to handle for a 3 mm thick coating – 48 hours (at 23 °C and 50 % humidity).
Use paints and varnishes with film elasticity comparable to that of the sealant. Coating colored sealants changes and intensifies their color.
Do not use for seams that are permanently under water. Do not use at ambient temperatures below +5°C and in high humidity (>70%).
