- For best results, apply the product at a minimum ambient temperature of +10°C.
- Before priming, the substrate must be cleaned, dried, degreased and dry sanded with an abrasive (P80-P320, depending on the substrate to be painted).
- Protect the surfaces that are not to be primed.
- Thin to the required viscosity with a thinner.
- Apply 1-2 coats with intercoat drying 5-10 minutes at +20°C.
1K Epoxy Primer
1K epoxy primer for preparing surfaces made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and of fiberglass for painting. It provides reliable corrosion protection of metal parts.
Its excellent adhesion ensures a firm bond between the topcoat and the surface to be painted.
1K epoxy primer KUDO® KU-2413 sands easily and makes it quick to obtain a smooth surface free from pinholes, unevenness and sanding marks. Suitable substrates: polyester body fillers, ferrous and stainless steel, wood, plywood, plastics.
Old paint coatings can be primed as well. It can be topcoated with any type of paint.
