- Avoid applying the product to thermoplastic acrylics! Apply it to bare metal, before the filler primer.
- Mask surfaces that are not to be treated to protect them from overspray.
- For best results, apply the product at a minimum ambient temperature of +10°C and at a relative humidity not exceeding 75%. Recommended temperature for spraying is +20°C.
- Remove loose rust, dirt and grease, sand with P320-400 abrasive and degrease the surface before applying the etch primer. KU-9100 Silicone Remover is recommended for degreasing.
- Shake well for 2-3 minutes before use.
- Spray the primer from a distance of 15-20 cm in 1-2 coats, allowing 5-10 minutes between coats. Film thickness: 4-5 µm per coat. Note: applying extra coats does not improve adhesion.
- Apply the next coating 20-30 minutes after priming at +20°C. KU-220X 1K Acrylic Filler Primer is recommended as the secondary isolating primer. Test compatibility before refinishing. Do not apply polyester products, including body fillers, over the etch primer.
Warning! After use, to avoid clogging the spray head, turn the can upside down and spray until the primer stops coming out.
