- For best results, apply the product at a minimum ambient temperature of +10°C.
- Before priming, the substrate must be cleaned, dried, degreased and dry sanded with an abrasive (P80-P240, depending on the substrate to be painted).
- Protect the surfaces that are not to be primed.
- Thin to the required viscosity with a thinner.
- Apply 1-2 coats with intercoat drying 5-10 minutes at +20°C.
1K Alkyd Anti-Corrosion Primer
KUDO® KU-2222 alkyd anti-corrosion primer for initial priming of metal parts and surface preparation when refinishing cars, special-purpose vehicles, machinery and equipment.
It can also be used on building structures exposed to high humidity, salts and oils.
Recommended for use on cleaned, degreased and sanded steel and cast iron surfaces.
Do not use to prime stainless steel, aluminum or galvanized steel.
