DSSIL260S-X
High-quality DONEWELL® sanitary acetoxy-cure silicone sealant for household, renovation and construction applications. Contains special antimicrobial additives to prevent mold growth. Ideal for humid areas such as bathrooms, showers and kitchens, and for glazing. Suitable for joints around bathtubs, sinks and swimming pools, sealing joints when installing sanitary fixtures, waterproofing surfaces and sealing tile joints.
Forms a strong, durable joint that resists discoloration, dust accumulation, mold and mildew. Resistant to most detergents and cleaning agents, UV radiation, weathering, temperature changes and almost all aggressive substances.

Application
- Apply at temperatures from +5°C to +40°C. The sealant temperature must be +20°C to +25°C.
- Apply the sealant to clean, dry and degreased surfaces.
- Protect adjacent surfaces with masking tape for a neat finish.
- Cut the tip from the cartridge above the screw thread, screw the dispensing nozzle onto the cartridge, unscrew the nozzle cap and trim the nozzle diagonally (at an angle of 45°) to fit the width of the joint.
- Apply with a cartridge caulking gun.
- Tool the sealant in the joint with a damp spatula.
- Remove the masking tape immediately after tooling.
- Remove excess sealant from tools and surfaces using a solvent (white spirit, or acetone) before the sealant has hardened.
- Remove cured sealant mechanically.
- Tack-free time – 10-20 minutes, sealant curing rate – 3 mm per day (at +23°C and 50% relative humidity).
- Service temperature from –50°C to +120°C.
Not recommended for natural stone (marble or granite), metals susceptible to corrosion (lead, copper, zinc or brass), concrete, cement, plastered surfaces or mirrors. Do not use for aquariums or submerged joints. Do not paint over the sealant.
