High-quality, one-component KUDO® neutral-cure silicone sealant for repair and construction applications. Designed for sealing and filling joints, including joints in structural glazing, sealing materials with different coefficients of thermal expansion, and forming gaskets.
Weather-resistant neutral silicone sealant KUDO® PROFF is used for the installation of curtain wall and facade panels and roof windows, and for the assembly of glass roofs, greenhouses and display cases.
Skins over quickly. Thixotropic: does not run or sag in the joint.

Application
- Apply at an ambient temperature from +5°C to +40°C. The sealant temperature should be +20°C to +25°C.
- Apply the sealant to clean, dry and degreased surfaces. For degreasing and cleaning, KUDO® Universal degreaser is recommended.
- Protect adjacent surfaces with masking tape for a neat finish.
- Apply with a cartridge caulking gun.
- Recommended sealant thickness in the joint: 6 mm for porous surfaces, 10 mm for non-porous ones.
- To avoid three-sided adhesion, use a closed-cell polyethylene backer rod. If the joint is not deep enough for a backer rod, use polyethylene bond breaker tape.
- For a compact, fully bonded joint, press the sealant firmly against the joint surfaces with a damp spatula.
- Remove the masking tape immediately after smoothing.
- Remove the sealant from tools and surfaces using a solvent (acetone, white spirit) before the sealant has cured.
- Remove cured sealant mechanically.
Caution: do not use for submerged joints or bonding aquariums. Do not use in areas exposed to oils or aggressive media. Not paintable. KUDO® Weather-Resistant Silicone Sealant must not be used for load-bearing bonding in structural glazing or as the secondary seal in insulating glass units.
