- Mask surfaces that are not to be painted to protect them from overspray.
- For best results, apply the paint at an ambient temperature of at least +10°C.
- Shake the can well for 2-3 minutes before use, and for at least 1 minute after the mixing ball inside the can begins to rattle.
- Apply the paint in 1-2 coats from a distance of 25-30 cm, letting each coat dry for 10-15 minutes at a temperature of +20°C.
- Make sure the basecoat has dried completely (hard to the touch).
- Put on the gloves supplied with the kit.
- Mix the paint thoroughly by shaking it for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour the top coat paint into a suitable wide-mouth container (the cap of the can, for example).
- Apply the top coat generously to the item with the brush supplied with the kit or in any other way. Make sure the paint has filled every recess of the item.
- Wipe the applied paint off the raised parts of the item with a damp cloth. If required, blot up the excess paint in the recesses with a dry cloth or tissue.
- Let the item dry for 6-8 hours.
- For better resistance to mechanical damage, the item can be coated with an acrylic varnish (KUDO® KU-9004 matte).
