Application
- The sealant is a two-component product consisting of a base paste (Part A) and a curing agent paste (Part B). The polymer base and the curing agent must be mixed in a ratio of 10:1 by volume and 14:1 by weight.
- Increasing or reducing the dose of Part B respectively shortens or extends the working time and slows down or speeds up the strength build-up. For optimum physical properties, mix with an airless mixing system. Hand mixers and portable power mixers are not suitable for this sealant, because they entrap air in the material, and this affects the physical properties of the cured sealant. Recommended mixing temperature range: from +20°C to +30°C.
- Apply the sealant only to a dry surface completely free from dirt, grease, mortar residues, previously applied sealants, ice and frost. Clean tools with isopropyl alcohol or mineral spirits. Once cured, the sealant can only be removed mechanically.
