Acetoxy-cure silicone joint sealant for joints subject to movement, including heated floors, exterior surfaces, terraces and corner joints. Ideal for humid areas such as bathrooms, showers and kitchens, and for glazing applications.
KUDO® silicone joint sealant is recommended for tile joints, joints around bathtubs, sinks and swimming pools, and sealing during the installation of sanitary fixtures, windows, doors and glazing.
Forms a strong, durable joint with movement capability of up to ±25% after curing. Resists dust accumulation, weathering and temperature changes. Thixotropic: does not run or sag in the joint.

Benefits
- Excellent adhesion to ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, glass and mosaics, sanitary ceramics, enameled surfaces, stainless steel, anodized aluminum, wood, PVC, porcelain, faience and other building materials.
- Can be used as a sanitary sealant and silicone grout.

Application
- Apply at an ambient temperature from +5°C to +40°C. The sealant temperature should be +20°C to +25°C.
- Apply the sealant to clean, dry and degreased surfaces.
- Protect adjacent surfaces with masking tape for a neat finish.
- The sealant depth should be 1/2 of the joint width, with a maximum depth of 12 mm.
- The sealant must adhere only to the joint sidewalls. Install polyethylene foam backer rod in deep joints before sealing.
- Permitted joint width: up to 6 mm without backer rod and up to 20 mm with backer rod.
- Tool the sealant in the joint with a damp spatula moistened with soapy water. Remove the masking tape immediately after smoothing.
- Remove the sealant from tools and surfaces using a solvent (white spirit, or acetone) before the sealant has cured. Remove cured sealant mechanically.
Note! It is not recommended to use the sealant when dealing with natural stone (marble or granite), metal surfaces prone to corrosion (lead, copper, zinc, or brass), or concrete, cement, plastered surfaces, as well as when working with mirrors. Do not use for sealing aquariums and underwater joints. Do not paint over!
