Hello! I bought my daughter a snow racer and gave it a little tuning. The snow racer is now ready for painting (all metal surfaces have been carefully stripped of paint by sandblasting). Paint: KUDO® fluorescent, color — pink. Painting will be done in a spray booth. Please tell me whether a primer has to be applied first. If so, which one? Should a varnish be applied after painting? If so, which is better? Thank you in advance for your answer!

KUDO® fluorescent spray paint only shows its properties when applied over a white base. Before applying it you therefore have to degrease the surface thoroughly and apply a white primer. We recommend Acrylic spray primer KUDO® KU-2104 (white) for this. Then let the primer dry for 20 minutes and apply the fluorescent paint. It can be applied in two coats with 10-15 minutes of intercoat drying. Fluorescent paint is not very durable, so it is better to lock it onto the surface. Acrylic matt spray varnish KUDO® KU-9004 can be used for this. A matt varnish does not produce glare and conveys the properties of the fluorescent paint better.

Hello! As promised, I am sending a video of the snow racer painted with KUDO® fluorescent paint. To sum up, I would like to say that the coatings made under the KUDO® brand are, in my opinion, of very good quality. And the most important result for me is that my daughter is simply delighted (pink for her, two-color red and blue LEDs flashing in turn, a heart on the front and so on). Thank you for your advice!
