- Before use, bolt the machine down to a flat, solid bench with three bolts. The machine must stand firmly.
- Connect the air hose to the valve unit. Set the pneumatic valve switch to the upper position.
- Feed air into the pneumatic valve unit. The working pressure must be no less than 6 and no more than 10 bar. The machine is now ready for use.
- Attention! Never put your hands into the travel path of the piston while the machine is in operation.
- Using the valve unit, raise and lower the piston several times without the cup. Use the flow restrictors to adjust the machine so that the piston goes down smoothly and slowly and comes back up quickly.
- Fit the cup onto the can.
- Pour the required amount of paint into the cup (no more than one hundred milliliters). Make sure the paint does not leak between the cup and the can.
- Insert the can with the cup into the slot of the machine as far as it will go and, turning the platform counterclockwise, clamp the can with the hold-down device.
- Make sure the piston and the cup are not skewed (the cup must not tilt more than one millimeter in any direction)
- Always close the door.
- Move the switch to the lower position. When the machine is adjusted correctly, filling with paint takes about 4 seconds.
- Once the piston stops in the lower position, move the switch to the upper position.
- Turn the platform clockwise to release the can.
- Take the can with the cup out of the machine.
- Remove the cup from the can. A small amount of paint on the valve stem of the can is acceptable.
- Attention! If you are not going to use the can straight away, turn it upside down and spray until the enamel stops coming out. Otherwise the enamel will dry in the spray head and the valve, and the can will stop working.
FILL SPRAY Aerosol Filling Machine
The aerosol filling machine is designed for making spray paints by filling enamels and other single-component coating materials into the KUDO® Fill Spray 1K pre-charged aerosol can.
The machine works by displacing the enamel from its cylinder into an aerosol can that holds propellant gas and/or solvent only (the pre-charged can). The piston is driven by compressed air. The working pressure in the compressed air line must be between 6 and 10 bar.
No power supply is required. The KUDO® Fill Spray 1K aerosol filling machine fills the aerosol can with ready-made enamels in any color matched to the customer's requirements. The specially balanced blend of components in the Fill Spray 1K pre-charged aerosol can accepts any type of single-component solvent-based enamel, including metallic basecoats. The maximum volume of enamel filled in must not exceed 100 ml.
The filling system delivers the selected color in a ready-to-use aerosol can in 5 seconds. Filling cans on site lets you respond to customer requests and keep a wide color range available at minimum cost: a can of the required color is filled only when it is needed, which brings significant savings and a better level of service.
The Fill Spray 1K machine works with the Fill Spray 1K pre-charged aerosol can.
