Silicone sealant KUDO® for roofs and roof drainage systems is now available in a new color, Graphite grey RAL 7024 — item code KSK-144. The dark gray shade goes well with modern roof coverings, metal gutters, vent stacks and other roof elements.
This one-component neutral cure sealant is designed for sealing and bonding roofing materials, repairing gutter joints and sealing joints around chimneys, roof windows and vent stacks.
The sealant has excellent adhesion to concrete, brick, galvanized sheet metal, painted and bare metals, wood, PVC, ceramics, glass, clinker brick and other building materials. The neutral cure system does not corrode ferrous and non-ferrous metals, concrete or natural stone.
Once cured, KSK-144 forms a strong, durable joint with a movement capability of up to ±20%. The sealant resists UV radiation, precipitation, temperature swings and aggressive weather. Its non-sag consistency keeps the sealant from running or slumping when it is applied to vertical and sloped surfaces.
The finished bead does not collect dust and is not paintable, so the new RAL 7024 color gives a neat, visually matched joint straight away.
